4Well, this summer it's gonna have to be WALKING, since I'll be in training. Normally though it's just going out on day trips. I'm hopeful that I'll be able to get the family out on some day hikes and such as my son never really has done that and I always did as a kid.
5Lots of stuff.... eating outside, swimming in the pool, vacations, going on a day trip to the beach, fresh local produce, camping....
6YES!!! Another Cedar Point fan! I'm obsessed with the place- and have been going there for as long as I've been alive. lol.
So other than that annual trip..I'm just looking forward to nicer weather for outdoor activities: tennis, volleyball, roller blading, going for long walks, etc. Even some outdoor concerts would be nice.
I love everything there is to do with summer..well..minus the insects. That I could live without
7Boating
8Waterskiing
Wakeboarding
Bonfires
Fishing
Vacation
Picnics
Biking
Spending time with no school schedule
Sun Tea
Camping
Smores
I could go on and on!!!
- Swimming
9- The free concert series at the park; Eve 6 is playing, I hope I can make it that day.
- Going to a movie theater on a nice summer night.
- Celebrating 4th of July; I love the fireworks and summer foods.
- Summer fashion
- The sidewalk sales in town.
- Learning how to drive this summer
- Jump roping; great exercise and it brings back childhood memories
- Sitting outside at night with a good book and a glass of cold green tea.
- Seeing life bloom back into the trees and flowers growing.
....looking forward to having free time during my holidays... to read, time to think as my mind will be freed from my usual work tasks, walk, explore, visit with family and friends, take lots of photos, daytripping...
10Ooh I love Cedar Point!!
I haven't been there in a LONG time! My favs are: Swimming,
slides at the water park, cheeseburgers, Sox games, ginger iced tea, capris, the dog park, botanical gardens, smores, sketching outside, Drive-Ins, and flip flops! I cannot wait until it gets
warmer here, it is still in the low 60's! Boo!
11hmm..
12although summer still hasn't hit up here in the mountains,
I love:
the smell of rain, sun tea, going out for ice cream cones with my son, bbqs, sparklers, hikes, wild flowers, sweet-smelling breezes, sleeping in, more daylight, and more time to catch up on my book list
also when in Cali, vegging out at the beach..day and night *sigh*
-bbq stand that pops up in my old home town
13-those long, nice, summer nights
-summer rain
-calling up old friends and seeing how they are
-relaxing, reading an old novel with nothing else to do
-running outside
